Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICU Nurse to join our critical care team in a state-of-the-art hospital in the Netherlands. In this demanding and rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing advanced nursing care to critically ill patients with a wide range of complex, life-threatening conditions. Your responsibilities will include continuous monitoring of patients’ vital signs and physiological parameters, interpreting complex data from medical equipment, and making rapid, evidence-based clinical decisions. You will administer potent medications, including vasoactive drugs and sedatives, manage ventilators and other advanced life support equipment, and assist with invasive procedures.

Requirement
  • Valid BIG registration as a Registered Nurse (Verpleegkundige) in the Netherlands.

  • Specialized post-basic qualification or certification in Intensive Care Nursing (ICU-Verpleegkundige) recognized in the Netherlands.

  • Significant proven experience working as an ICU Nurse in a critical care setting.

  • Proficiency in the Dutch language (spoken and written) to at least B2/C1 level, crucial for effective communication in high-stakes situations and with the multidisciplinary team.

  • Advanced clinical assessment, critical thinking, and rapid decision-making skills.

  • Proficiency in managing ventilators, invasive monitoring equipment, and administering potent critical care medications.

  • Ability to remain calm and perform effectively under high pressure and in emergency situations.
